AN INTERACTIVE ADULT ORIENTED SHOW WITH ATTITUDE
| Based out of Las Vegas, NV, Billy Dare & The
Pumps are an original comedy band with a totally interactive, adult
oriented, cabaret style production show. In addition to original
comedy songs featuring music styles that range from rock to hillbilly,
blues to Broadway, the show features costumed character segments,
improv and parody. Billy Dare & The Pumps represent the bizarre
result of co-mingling between three songwriters from diverse
backgrounds (punk, metal and theater) who came up through the Boston
original circuit onto the national gay circuit and finally to Las
Vegas. Drummer Mikelvan, the most recent addition to Billy Dare &
The Pumps, completes the line-up. Originally from the San Francisco Bay
Area, he adds to the diversity of the band's sound, bringing influences
that range from thrash metal to hip hop. |
